Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Wooden Spoon gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you to all our sponsors in helping us achieve our goals on the 4 peaks challange, especially for your very kind donations. We now have to complete the below challange in 12hours and look to your support once again in helping us achieve our goals once again. We have taken the additional money raised from the 4 peaks and just need to top up to get our entry fee.

We as the Tribac Trotters (Chad, Andy, Heath and driver Benedicte) are participating in a triathlon of sorts, the Ford Ranger Great Lakeland Challenge. We decided to take this challange on after achieving our goals in the Four Peaks especially with the support from our sponsors, and we feel that by completeing this event and raisng a little more funds for the children of the Wooden Spoon we would have achieved our goals personally and for the Charity.

The event consists of a canoe section (England's longest lake) 10.5 miles, cycle section (England's steepest pass) 26 miles, 1:3 gradients and finally a mountain section (England's highest peak) 3435 ft, 8.5 miles all of which we hope to complete within 12hours.

We really do appreciate any sponsorship you can afford and remember this is for a great cause, The Wooden Spoon Society supporting disadvantaged children.

So please open up your hearts and your wallets and sponsor us now!
