After trekking for 4 days at high altitude, we finally reached the awesome destination of Machupicchu. It was hard work and literally 'breath-taking'!! Thanks to your support and generosity we have overtaken our original target and have raised enough money to send two deserving children on a life changing holiday with Dreamflight!!

We will be undertaking The Peru Inca Trail Challenge commencing on the 6th June 2009 to raise money for Dreamflight.
The Inca Trail Challenge includes volunteer work at a school development project in Cuzco followed by hiking at high altitude for several days to reach Machu Picchu. Yes, we are both confronting our combined phobias of exercise and life without hair straighteners to raise money for very deserving children!
Every year, Dreamflight takes 192 children who are seriously ill or have life limiting conditions on a holiday of a lifetime to the theme parks in Orlando, Florida. The children are from all areas of the UK and are accompanied by a team of medical carers.
We have both been lucky enough to go on Dreamflight as volunteers and have seen first hand the difference that it makes to the childrens lives. They have an immense amount of fun, but they also gain confidence, independence and often a whole new outlook on life.
We want to raise as much money as possible, but ideally we would like to raise £3000 to cover the cost of taking one deserving child on their holiday of a lifetime!
