Story
Hi and welcome to my justgiving site!
In 2007 I ran the London Marathon in memory of my Mum. She lost her fight with cancer in 1994 and as Macmillan were really helpful to her and the family I ran for them. I know it made my family proud that I got around - even if it took nearly 7 hours - and raised a fair bit of cash in the process.
Sadly, later that year my Dad became ill with Leukaemia and passed away that October. Again Macmillan were on hand in the ward and helped Dad with financial entitlements etc.
Since Mam passed away, Dad had always been a strong supporter of Macmillan and Tracy and I have tried to keep up the tradition wherever possible.
So, in memory of Dad, and as yet another thank you to Macmillan I am once again trudging the streets of Swansea and Brentwood in preparation for the 26th of April where I will join 35000 other crazy souls running the London Marathon.
So thanks for visiting my fundraising page and as they say, please give generously!!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

p.s. if you want to track my training, I have a blog here...
