Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

I chose the Parkinson's Disease Society beause my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2007.

I did the London Triathlon last year, but this year I am really testing my body by doing double the distance, which is pretty daunting. This means a 1500m swim, 40Km bike ride and then a 10K run. That's 51.5Km in total!

I have a gruelling training plan to get me to my goal. This often means getting up at 6am at weekends to fit the training into family life.

So please help me to help the Parkinson's Disease Society. Wouldn't it be great if one day there was a more effective treatment or even a cure.

Please sponsor me now!
