Gary and I are running the Great North Race in Newcastle on Sunday 20th September 2009. This is my first Half Marathon but Gary is a more experienced runner having run various half and full marathons.  Training is going well and we are both on target to do the distance!   

Just incase you're watching the race on the BBC on Sunday morning...... Gary's number is 50112 and he is starting in Zone D and mine is 50118 and I'm starting in Zone F  All the training has been done with less than a week to go and we are now resting in readiness for the big day! Hey pasta party here we come......!!!!

We have raised 50% of our target and as we are hoping to raise a whopping £400.00 there is a little way to go - every penny is valued so please sponsor us to help us achieve our target.  All money raised will benefit children living in our communities, those who are vulnerable, face adversity, suffer from illness or are deprived of the childhood that every child deserves.
