I am raising money for the Weldmar trust because they do a great job helping those people who have an illness that will not respond to treatment. My mum died some years ago from lung cancer and the day we found out that she would not survive this terrible disease was a dark day indeed. Local charities like the Weldmar do tremendous work and without them many people affected by these situations would have a much harder time.

What about me? Well I love keeping fit and enjoy sport, am a little eccentric and most of all love people and community. I have raised money for the Weldmar in the past by running the British 10kilometre race as well as doing the London Bikeathon this summer in aid of Lukeamia.

 

To the marathon then, well its the next logical step and I only ask that you help me along the miles with some lovely donations to put a spring into my heavy legs and battered toes!
