Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Thanks for visiting the donation pages for the TriumphTR7.com relay tour of England. This year, 2005, marks the 30th Anniversary of the launch of the Triumph TR7 and to mark the event we wanted to tour England - and hope to raise money in the process.

The charity is Spinal Research - chosen as RTAs (Road Traffic Accidents) often result in spinal injuries which can have a devasting effect on the life of the injured person and also on those close to him or her.

The tour will cover in excess of 1200 miles from June 11 to the 19th - starting from Speke (birth place of the Triumph TR7) and finishing in Naseby, Northants; having visited the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Moors, Wells-next-the-Sea, Ely, Kent, Hampshire and calling in at such places as Stonehenge, Stratford Upon Avon, and Canley on the way. Overall we hope to have more than 30 TR7's take part and a number of other Triumphs to escort us on our way. All costs are met by the participants - including AA and RAC renewals which we hope won't be used.

Please show your support for those taking part and make a donation - no matter how small to the chosen charity. A lot of organising has gone into selecting a route that avoids motorways and main dual carriageways and covers as much as England as is feasible.... and TriumphTR7.com is not a club, nor receives income through the efforts of the website.

Many Thanks, TRisha TR - a 1977 Speke built FHC
