During a visit to Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, I came across the Dryden Ward and met a lovely Irish Sister called Mary Noone. She told me the ward urgently needed a Cardiac Monitor, but due to large capital spending setting up the Acute Assessment Unit there was no spare money in the budget. Dryden is currently a respiratory and short stay ward with majority of the patients having breathing and heart problems, so a Cardiac Monitor is vital for their care. At present the nursing staff have to locate monitors from other areas which can delay treatment, create stress for the patient, or carry out ECG's which will not always catch periodic arrhythmias. There are so many benefits for the Cardiac Monitor, but more importantly it could save a life, so I am running the Bupa 10k race in central London on 25th May to raise funds to purchase the monitor. If you live in the area, then the monitor is for your community, if you are sponsoring me because you like me or hate me or just want to see me suffer, then please give as much cash as you can to reach the target.
100% of the money you donate will go towards the Cardiac Monitor. There will be no VAT on the product.
This website is totally safe, but if you want to pay direct with cash or a cheque please contact me on trocki@messagepr.co.uk
Many thanks for donating, it is greatly appreciated. Victor Trocki
