Story
I genuinely can't think of anything more dangerous, fun or ridiculous to do that ride a tuktuk across India with Aly Bursey, so it might not seem an obvious thing to then ask for your hard-earned money, but the point is not the bloody great adventure (for which I should say we're paying our own way) but to try and raise some money for London Air Ambulance along the way.
Here's the plan: http://www.theadventurists.com/rickshaw-run/
London Air Ambulance have treated over 30,000 patients since 1989, attending around six emergencies a day, providing lifesaving treatment in the crucial period immediately following serious traumas. Incredibly, the London Air Ambulance relies on charitable giving to meet its £2.25m annual budget. I know a lot of you and your friends play rugby, cycle and, let's face it, cross the roads in London - please give generously in the hope that you'll never need their amazing services.
