As you may all be aware of now I was fortunate enough to gain a place in the 2010 Marathon in London on the 25th April.
As I write there are only 192 days until that fateful day where I will attempt to complete the 26 odd mile challenge preferably in under 5 hours. I feel this is a safe target and as its my first time I don't want to put added pressure of an unrealistic time so believe that 5 hours is managable.
So the charity I have chosen is SOS Children's Villages who I chose for two reasons, firstly they are helping the people of the Philippines after the recent typhoon and also as Tottenham Hotspur, my team, also work with the charity.
I hope you can spare any money to aid me in reaching my total and I'll aim to keep you up to speed with my training progress. Starting this weekend with a gentle 7 miler.
