Thankyou for visiting our page. We're Unlimited Theatre, and here's a bit more about what we're doing.
A few months ago one of Unlimited Theatre’s amazing trustees, Louisa Riches, decided she would run a half marathon to raise money for projects we do inspiring children and young people about science through the arts. For our work in this area we recently received the Sir Arthur Clarke Award for Achievement in Space Education & Outreach, awarded by the Space Education Trust and the British Interplanetary Society.
We of course swiftly accepted the offer. This year our project The Astronautical Challenge, made in collaboration with Coney and Radiowaves, was played by hundreds of children, involving them in an adventure and giving them the opportunity to solve scientific challenges. In the 2011 National Charities Awards this project helped us win in the Arts, Culture & Heritage category. Here's what one of the teachers said about taking part:
"I loved the whole programme. It made science exciting and fun...The children were extremely motivated by the whole thing, every aspect excited them and they were engrossed in the characters created and the sense of competition." Holy Trinity Primary London
The money you give in support of Louisa will go to developing new projects for schools and extending our work onto new digital platforms to create the widest possible access to it.

I am Louisa. I was a founding partner of Unlimited and have had the pleasure of being on the board of trustees since 2004. Somehow I have been cajoled into running my first ever (and possibly last?) half marathon for Unlimited. I will be doing the Nike 'Run to the Beat' in London on Sunday 25 September. I won't be wearing fancy dress (although I did consider running it as Mag of Ann and Mag for those of you that remember Wise Maids/Clean) but I do hope to raise money for Unlimited and the excellent work it does.
Any sponsorship will be gratefully received. If you can turn up and cheer for us on the day, even better.
