Sport offers tremendous physical, psychological and social benefits for those taking part. WheelPower provides and promotes opportunities for thousands of adults and children with physical disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive wheelchair sport.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

The TT Group need to raise £3,000  to help provide sports-adapted wheelchairs to allow disabled athletes to participate in sporting activities. Please take a moment to read more on the WheelPower website (http://www.wheelpower.org.uk/index.cfm)

Here are the many and varied challenges we have set ourselves ........

Andy Moloney - will be climbing all 43 flights of stairs of  8 Canada Square on March 20th (despite suffering from dodgy knees)

Angie Calvert, Caroline Foran, Nancy Riyad, Nic Scotto-Lavino & Sam Mahapatra - will be hosting a basketball challenge between the NY Front Office and Support Groups (date and venue TBC shortly)

Chris Roberts - will be going platinum blonde on March 19th. 

Emma Parry - will not be speaking a word between 9am-5pm on March 19th (quote: "that's going to be tough !!!")

Fladia Tang & John Plester - will be selling snacks (chocolate, biscuits and seaweed) to HK Operations staff on March 13th.

Gary Scutt, Richard Ingram, Steve Langstone & Trevor Evans - will be cleaning screens and telephones for cash on the 2nd floor of 8 Canada Square on March 19th.

Hector Sanchez - will be raising funds by selling refreshments to Operations staff on March 20th

Maria Isla-Martinez - will be doing a 5k run on March 21st.

Paul Wagstaff  - will be going blonde or ginger (depending on success of dye) on March 22nd.

Richard Venables - TBC

Rob Duff - will be running a balloon race from Canary Wharf on 20th March.  Each sponsor (first £400) of more than £10 will get a personal balloon released.  Furthest balloon returned will win a £20 prize.
