Well don't laugh, but yes - i am attempting to run the Virgin London Marathon 2010!

With two Great North Run's under my belt I thought it was time to up the ante, so i'm dusting off my running shoes and psyching myself up for some serious pavement pounding. I even got a few running tips from Marathon Guru Eddie Izzard.

As many of you will be aware Cancer is close to my heart as my dad died of Throat cancer in 1991 so i'm setting myself this challenge to continue to raise money for research. I've raise £3000 to date for Cancer Research and for my next challenge i'm going to be raising money for Elimination of Leukaemia Fund. The money raised will go towards further research which will help in the fight to find a cure.

I'll keep you updated of my training and if anyone fancies joining me on some training sessions - just give me a shout as i'll be glad of the company.
