Tuscany Park - Liverpool to Leeds Canal Bike Ride (128mile) · 31 July 2015

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Warburtons site (Tuscany Park) JustGiving page.

Warburtons chosen charity is Cancer Research and we have been challenged with raising around £100k per year.

Tuscany Park decided to do something big to raise as much money for Cancer Research as possible. I managed to get a team of 7 together to take on the challenge.

The challenge is a 128 mile bike ride along the canal from Liverpool to Leeds, hopefully taking about 15- 18 hours.

If any of you know any of the members of the team then you will know for some of the team that this challenge won't be easy and will take a lot of training and more than likely suffering.

I hope to reach a target of £1,000 with Warburton's matching some of the funding.

Team Tuscany:

Paul Pearcy, Mark Crowther, Martyn Kirk, Richard Arkle, Simon Bould and Darren Henfry.

Please sponsor if you can spare the money, its a great cause and it will help spur us on.
