Merry Christmas!

Festive spirits are high this year and tweeters are creating their very own Social Advent Calendar - http://www.twadvent.com

As we all know, social media is NOT just for fundraising, but if you'd like to help give a terminally ill person the best gift of all - Christmas at home with their family - please give whatever you can.

£20 could pay for a Marie Curie Nurse to visit a patient for one hour giving them time to watch their children open their presents.

£80 could pay for a Marie Curie Nurse to look after someone with cancer for half a day - in that time a patient can be cared for as they sit with their family for Christmas dinner.

£160 could pay for a Marie Curie Nurse to spend a whole shift of up to eight hours with a patient - so they can make the most of Christmas at home with their family.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
