Story
Hi folks. You can donate from anywhere in the world using
Paypal.
One of our good friends has been battling cancer for a number of years and we felt that this was a good way to raise some money for a cause of her choice, being Macmillan Cancer Support.
Louise and I therefore paddled River Tweed from Drumelzier to Berwick between the 20th & 22nd of August. The river is 97 miles (156km) long from source to mouth and is the fourth longest river in the country. We reckon that our journey was about 80 miles (128km) which works out as an average of 27 miles (43km) a day.
A massive thanks to fellow paddler Jeff (and also to Kate) of Duncan House Bed & Breakfast in Kelso for allowing us to break our journey in their house. A night in the lap of luxury was just the ticket and their generous offer was just as good as a donation. The B&B can be found at www.duncanhouse.co.uk/
We would be delighted if you could support us by giving a wee bit money to Macmillan Cancer Support (registered number SC039907).
Thanks, Ranald & Louise.
