~*~UPDATE~*~
Well... we did it :-) and in only 4h10 which is a good hour less than I set myself too, and in horrible conditions!
Ha ha ha ha ha...
It seems I cannot get enough of pushing myself this year, so I thought I would have another go, cept, it's going to be cold this time and that's going to make it a lot harder for me, as most of you know, I suffered permanent damage after my PE and find lower temperatures a lot harder to work in, and anyone who's met me is probably well aware of how cold I get (most of you have probably been used as a hand warmer at some point)!
I guess it helps having such supportive friends, as whenever I come up with one of these ideas there's normally at least one more of you willing to take up the challenge with me too! It also gives me something to push and aim for while the rest of life seems to be staying still.
As a lot of you are probably aware, my father has suffered from heart disease for many years, I was 13 when he had his first heart attack, I think the grand total now is 7 heart attacks and 4 angina attacks, although I could be wrong, I know life would be very different right now had he not made it which is why I am pleased to support the British Heart Foundation.
I was thrown a tenner last weekend to go into the shops and buy my mate 20 cigarettes as she finished off the one she was smoking at the time... I gave up smoking early Jan this year, and I was amazed at how little change you get from £10 these days... so, where I used to ask for the price of a packet of cigarettes, I'll not even ask that for this challenge... I'll just ask for as much as you would like to give, it's for a very very good cause
