As a living memory and tribute to Emma Louise Brandon, Emma's Bubble Trust is committed to raising as much money as possible to help alleviate the physical and emotional suffering of teenagers who find themselves afflicted by cancer.

Story

Hellooooooo there, Thanks for taking the time to come to our Just Giving page!

We are going to attempt to climb Africa’s highest mountain!!!!  Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world sat on the African continent at 5896m.

 We could be sponsored to walk, swim or even sit in a tub of baked beans without too much discomfort. But unless you’re allergic to tomatoes, where’s the adventure in that. Climbing at this high an altitude is like hitting your head against a brick wall.

 Why…

 The charity we have chosen to support is one close to my family’s heart. Emma was an ordinary, fun loving teenager who was tragically struck down by cancer just days after her 16th birthday. The charity was set up in her memory.

It aims to support teenagers with Cancer  to try and make some of their darkest days in hospital a little bit more bearable. To find out more information about the charity and all the good work they do you can visit them here....www.emmasbubbletrust.org

 When…

 August 2011 – it seems a long time way but we have two more mountains to climb before we can get up to Kili. In the meantime we need to;

 1.      Reach the £3,790 target and we can only do that with your help and support!

 2.     Get physically and mentally fit for this challenge!

 So all that’s left to say from us is THANK YOU ALL so much for your support!

 Lots of Love   Hayley and Charlotte xx
