Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On Sunday 7 June 2009 I ran the Two Castles Run to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY). The 10km run began at Warwick Castle and finished at Kenilworth Castle. For more information please visit http://www.twocastlesrun.org.uk/
CRY is a chairty close to my heart - no pun intended! My uncle Tony was just 41 when he died of a heart condition and as many of you know, Nick Jarram passed away earlier this year of an undiagnosed heart condition at the young age of 26.
Relatively little is known about Sudden Cardiac Death, but what is known is that it occurs in fit and healthy young people and has few or no warning signs. The charity CRY runs a screening program and aims to raise awareness of the condition. For more information please visit www.c-r-y.org.uk.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiac Risk in the Young gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Although I've done the race, it's not too late to sponsor me so please sponsor me now!
