We have decided to raise money for The West of England Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in memory of Joanna's mother who suffered with MS for several years.
The MS Therapy Centre provides support and relief of symptoms to MS suffers by using complementary therapies and self help techniques. The centre has 60 visitors per day and relies solely on contributions.
Check out their Youtube clip, it shows some of the great work they are doing.
We are aiming to at least complete three big events this year. An olympic distance triathlon, a swim around lake windermere (the great north swim) and to finish the Dublin marathon.
So if think this is worth a few quid please click the donate button.
We will keep you posted on our progress.
15th July - The olympic distance triathlon was completed on 12th July and we have survived! It was a challegning course as it involved a 1500m sea swim, a 40KM bike ride over hilly terrain and 10.2KM run which was practically vertical!
Andy completed it in just under three hours and Joanna complete it in 3.5 hours. We were elated but tired afterwards and just about recovered now!
Cheers,
Joanna and Andy
