Cancer Research UK is doing some great work and particularly in the Cambridge area, where there is a large research establishment at Addenbrookes' Hospital.They are world leaders.

I am really keen to try and help raise money towards this valuable research into all the different types of cancer.

I am no good at running unfortunately, so this is why I have come up with singing for Charity and writing songs with Mike from Two Free, see www.twofree.co.uk because that is something that I can try to do and I love doing. We will eventually be writing an album but the songs for these are under wraps at the moment and will go on sale for charity at the end of the year hopefully. There's just a few little song bites we've played with on the web at the moment. Mike plays all the instruments and is the very clever one, really a one man band and I just has a little sing along... 

I know it is hard at the moment, but I'd love it if you could donate something. You can donate as little as £2 on line, or even a few pennies given to Jules to give to the charity manually (she has a tin!) Every penny helps and makes a difference and we really appreciate it.

I have had family members who have battled with cancer, friends who have also gone through extensive treatment and I was also diagnosed with Lymphoma last year.

I am very lucky and I'm fighting it but I also feel that I want to do something incredibly positive and put something back, for others who have not been so lucky.

I know how scary it is when you have been diagnosed and I know about the great work that Cancer Research carry out. The inroads Cancer Research have made over the last few years has been enormous and lets hope they can help even more people.

Survival rates are increasing all the time due to valuable research.
