Our walking blog: see how we got on HERE

In late May 2008 Kate, Simon, Oli and Wilf successfully walked the Two Moors Way, crossing Devon from south coast to north -- a total distance of about 115 miles (including the 15 miles from Plymouth to Ivybridge as a practice before we set off for the main walk).
We are asking for your sponsorship of this walk to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which works towards a cure for Type 1 diabetes. As many of you will know, Oliver was diagnosed aged 8 with this disorder, and in the 5 years since has kept himself alive and well with blood tests and multiple daily insulin injections.  JDRF aims to reach a point where he and others like him (around 20,000 children in the UK) may not have to face a lifetime of injections and potential complications.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: JDRF will receive your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for all your support.
