Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you know, me and Craig love to get out in the hills and although we hope to never need them, it is certainly reassuring to know that the North West Air Ambulance service is there should the worst happen.
****Sadly the treks that we had intended on doing this summer have both been cancelled. As such we have decided to take on a bigger challenge by ourselves. So at the end of August we will now be trekking the Ribble Way.
The Ribble Way is a 73 mile footpath following the River Ribble along the beautiful Ribble Valley from its mouth to its source. The footpath traverses the counties of Lancashire and North Yorkshire and is divided into 7 sections each approximately 10 miles long.
The Ribble Way starts at Longton to the west of Preston and follows a gentle course through Ribchester and Clitheroe before reaching Gisburn. The Ribble way then crosses from Lancashire into North Yorkshire and continues to its source at Gavel Gap near Horton in Ribblesdale.****
