What is the Two Pound Mission? Glad you asked. As part of a development course, over the next two days we're raising money for the extremely worthy Whitechapel Mission, who provide food, washing facilities and legal, health and educational support for homeless people in the east end of London. They are a small, dedicated charity who spend all donations on helping people at the bottom of the heap.
Our mission is to get everyone we know to donate two measly pounds to this much needed organisation - not a lot to each of you, but if this works, it could add up to a really great thing. So please, if you can, give just a little.
We will also be selling cakes on Queen Mary campus over the next two days, because everyone likes cakes.
