Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 27th June a team of us are jumping from the tyne bridge and zip wiring down to the Sage Gateshead!!! we are doing this to raise valuable funds for a charity close to our hearts, Dreamflight.

Dreamflight is a registered UK charity that was established in 1986 with the aim of providing a special holiday bringing some joy and happiness to seriously ill and disabled children. It aims to give children who perhaps can't wait long enough for the medical breakthrough they need, or whose illnesses and treatments have bought pain and disruption to their lives, the holiday of a lifetime in Florida. They encounter all the thrills and excitement of the theme parks they may never otherwise get to experience.

It is a huge undertaking, chartering a 747 with British Airways and taking 192 sick and disabled children and 96 volunteer medical staff, cabin crew and non-medical helpers.

In excess of £650,000 needs to be raised annually for this incredible life changing trip. Please help us raise maximum funds for these deserving children and donate whatever you can for our challenge!
