Typhoon Ondoy battered much of the Philippines over a month ago, leaving hundreds of fatalities and an estimated 2 million displaced people. The situation remains desperate.

The global charity AMURT/EL immediately set up volunteers who have been working to serve the worst affected communities. Their work is making a crucial difference to the lives of those who have suffered as a result of the disaster.
