We are looking to ride from Felixstowe in suffolk to Gibraltar in Spain starting at the begining of october 2009.

There will be four people doing the event.....Paul Johnson, Jim Lee, Daniel Elowson and myself, Karl Thimblethorpe-Blodau.

Back in December 2005 my wife Louise started to feel very unwell, and after many tests she was diaignosed with a bowel disease called ulcerative collitus. she has had two of the three operations needed in order for her to get back her life that she has lost through having this colorectal disease. After attending her appoinments at the hospital it is clear how many other people have this same disease and who are relying on St Mark's hospital to help them over come their illnesses and make a sound recovery.

Thats why i thought it would be only fair that we try and give a little back!!
