My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
WE COMPLETED THE 625 MILE WALK IN JUST FIVE WEEKS AND ONE DAY! GOT TO FINISH LINE ON AUGUST 5th 2010. THE WALK TOOK US THROUGH SOME AWESOME COUNTRYSIDE AND COASTAL PATHWAYS.
PLEASE STILL GIVE TO HEADWAY - EVEN IF YOU FIND THIS PAGE AGES AFTER! THEY NEED YOUR HELP!
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN SO GENEROUS. WHY NOT TRY SOME OF THE ULSTER WAY FOR YOURSELF - RECOMMENDED!
This page is established to help with raising money for Matthew Hoper and Simon Harris' walk round the entire Ulster way! This walk is 625 miles (1000) and will be completed in approx 6 weeks!
The two young men are raising money for "Headway" a british based brain injury charity. Brain injury affects many families. The lads want to support Headway as it helps individuals and families suffering from brain injuries or related issues.Headway provides backup at a time when it is most needed.
Simon was affected in 2005, when his mum Ruth died of a brain tumour. This fact is spurring the lads on to complete this challenge! It is a long way so lots of encouragement will be appreciated!
If you are donating prior to the walk, whislt we are walking or after the walk it is very much appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. A genuine THANK YOU!
Simon and Matthew!
