Umber Mud Run · 20 March 2016

Empowering charities, people, and communities is the heartbeat of the HEY Smile Foundation. By inspiring communities, being a generous leader, and making a positive impact across the region, we can create a ripple effect that transforms communities and changes lives.

Story

Mud, Sweat and Fears

Umber Creative's super team of staff, friends and family are taking part in the Royal British Legion Major Series - a muddy 10-12km run through a military obstacle course - crossing rivers, crawling through mud and climbing cargo nets under the watchful eye of Drill Sergeants from the British military.

Why on earth would we want to do this?

We want to raise funds for the wonderful Hull based charity the HEY Smile Foundation. A charity that has helped countless people, charities and projects in our local region. Including; Children with disabilities, Inshore Rescue, Down Syndrome, Memory Loss, Nursing and Respite Care as well as many others. www.heysmilefoundation.org

Who is running?

The 10 brave runners who have volunteered are: Kara, Kevin, Luke, Anna, Am, Tom, Roxanne, Neil, Amy & Joanne. More runners may join the team as we get closer to the event.

We ask for any donations you can spare to help the HEY Smile Foundation and to help us get wet, muddy and cold with a smile on our faces.
