Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Jessie May Trust. Throughout the early parts of this summer, I'll be preparing to ride a bicycle (kindly donated by Pembury Cycles) underwater in the sea to raise funds for this worthy cause. Currently, I'm preparing to examine a few dive sites with a view to how well I believe they'll support this rather non-standard method of underwater transport. Also, I'll be taking the bike into the water in order to ensure it is correctly weighted/bouyed up, to ensure it will behave itself beneath the waves. As I progress with the plans, I'll post more about the progress, along with shots of my escapades in practice (which will be taken by divers and staff from Extreme Marine, who have kindly agreed to donate their time and logistic support to the endeavour, completing with safety support and photography cover for the event itself), so please check back from time to time to see how things are going!
Don't forget that any donations you make to this event aren't just to see the spectacle of an underwater bike ride; You'll be helping to keep the Jessie May Trust supporting children affected by terminal illnesses, and their families. We don't all have the talent and training to directly help those who face these terrible circumstances in their time of need, but we can make the difference by keeping those who dedicate themselves to the task working at what they do so well..
Many thanks for your support and donations; they are much appreciated, by the Trust, and the families they support.

P.S. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Jessie May Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
