My story

 

Thanks for your donation to The Children's Trust in return for your guaranteed place.

Every day The Children’s Trust makes life worth living for some of the most disabled children in Britain. Thousands of families cope with the daily struggle of bringing up a child with multiple disabilities. For a few hundred of these families The Children’s Trust provides a lifeline. In 2009 we celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Over those years we have transformed the lives of thousands of children and their families by  providing expert nursing care, short breaks, therapy programmes, a special school and a chance for these children to live their lives to the full no matter how serious their disabilities.

Some children become disabled suddenly as the result of an accident or illness and for these children our rehabilitation programmes offer them a chance to rebuild their shattered lives. Quite simply, we give their families hope.

We want to use our 25th Anniversary to highlight the needs of children with multiple disabilities and reach more families. It is a huge challenge and to meet it we will need to raise more money than ever before. We need your help.

One of the most important events in our fundraising calendar is the Flora London Marathon. In 2009 we want 1000 people to run for The Children’s Trust.  Please use your guaranteed place to fundraise for us. Join our team today and help us change the lives of children with multiple disabilities.
