We are all aware of the recent floods that devastated certain regions of Pakistan. Millions of people are still counting the destructive cost of this tragedy as they seek to rebuild their lives and homes. As recent graduates, close mates and loyal friends, we Fiaz Riaz, Mohammed Sheraz and Atif Ali have been very eager to show our hand in support and provide help in any way possible. We have decided to participate in Aid work in Pakistan for approximately 10 days during the Christmas break. With our very own formation of the unitT charity group , we will be abroad in person to provide valuable support and effort to where it is most needed. In light of this, I kindly ask for your contributions to help the needy and unfortunate victims of this disaster.
The main aim of the aid work is to distribute water and food parcels. We also intend to partake in construction hence to rebuild homes and to provide assistance in medical camps and mobile medical clinics. This will hopefully ease the burden upon those affected and together we can lay new foundations for them to have a new beginning, a new start. We will be deployed in one of the 5 main affected areas in Pakistan including Peshawar and Muzaffarabad.
As we are all fortunate to be blessed with certain luxuries we tend to take advantage of bare necessities however those people that suffered from the natural atrocities in Pakistan have nothing. Therefore it is our obligatory duty to help the desperate and unfortunate people of Pakistan.
We call upon you all to open up your hearts and save these people. With your donations we will be able to touch many hearts and provide hope and optimism in these bleak times. Help us to help them by supporting us in our mission and together we will save many lives. Huge amount of change is needed in Pakistan and only by acts of our generosity can we help achieve this change. May it be feeding a single child or rebuilding a whole village... anything is better than nothing.
