The Partnership Walk & Run will be taking place on in Gloucester Green, Regent's Park, .
The 10 km sponsored walk & run seeks to raise awareness and funds for the work of the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), thereby developing sustainable solutions to long-term problems of poverty, hunger, illiteracy and poor health.
The event is part of the global Partnerships in Action initiative.
This year’s theme “Make a difference with every step” highlights AKF's work in health, education and rural development.
100% of the Funds raised, from this year’s event, will directly support the following three projects:
- Environmental Health Improvement Programme in
- Early Childhood Development Programme - “Jailoo” Kindergartens in the
- Rice Farming Yield Improvement Programme in (APRA-GIR) in
The overheads of AKF are funded by His Highness the Aga Khan and from endowment income. All monies raised therefore go directly to these projects.
