THANK YOU!! for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deeEEEeeep and sponsor us online.

for visiting our fundraising page. and sponsor us online.

We are SIX STUDENTS from OXFORDDURHAM and BIRMINGHAM universities, in the UK, studying Chemistry, Medicine, Finance, Biochemistry and Law.

On the 12th of JULY, we fly out to San Francisco from London to face our challenge. Our challenge is to CYCLE 4200 MILES across the United States, from SAN FRANCISCO to NEW YORK.

Our route takes us : Mothers see A) ONLY, others see B)

A) through WARM SANDS, a few GENTLE hills and vast plains filled with trees and FLOWERS. We'll send post cards!

B) through the DESERTS of Utah and Nevada during its hottest season, a few SANDSTORMS, over the ROCKIES, across the GREAT PLAINS, up and down the APPALACHIANS then UP (again) to New York.

ALL to raise money for

Students Partnership Worldwide

 - SPW works with disprivileged youth around the world. We support this charity because of its focus on using education as a means to give people of our generation faced with poverty, an opportunity to help themselves, offering a better future based on positive life choices. Please read the brief description of their work on the left and more on their website - http://www.spw.org

The dangers of this trip are real but we know it'll definitely be worth it, especially with your support for us and SPW.

We are in the process of contacting universities in the US to find American students who would join us while we are cycling through their state and help raise awareness in their universities about issues affecting students in less developed countries and contribute by fundraising, hence the name "University Challenge"

Donating here is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: SPW will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift  at no cost to you

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

- Adam, Aubrey, Will, Angus, James & Calum
