Crazy Cyclist Part II · 18 February 2009

Working since 1995, we help orphans, families and communities climb out of the poverty cycle through aid, support and sustainable development programmes. We have active projects in Bangladesh, Burma, Cambodia, Africa, Gaza, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Syria.

Story

Give an orphan a chance to have a decent meal and a decent life.

I'm back for part II of the trilogy (keep your eyes peeled!). This time I'm going to cycle over 60 miles from LONDON to BRIGHTON on the 19th April 2009. As a first year Uni student my diet of junk may have slowed me down, so make sure you send me on my bike with a big donation!

NEW ADDITION!

I'm also taking part in the SKYDIVE for Orphans. Now I'm doing two crazy things, which means two reasons to sponsor me DOUBLE!!!

Why donate through Families Relief?
Because, 128% of your donation goes to those who need it!

Yep, that's right - 128% - 100% of your donation, and the 28% GiftAid (if you're a UK Taxpayer). Unlike other charities, Families Relief does not keep any of your donation or its GiftAid for administration purposes. SO they are probably the most efficient charity to donate through.

Families Relief operates with the belief that disasters don't just affect individuals - they effect families and communities. Thus they focus on building long-term sustainable projects, emphasising on the needs of orphans and lone-parent families.

If you wish to find out the more about the work Families Relief does, or where the funds raised from this marathon will go, please visit www.familiesrelief.org.uk

So help me lose a few stone and build my leg muscles, but at the same time, help build an orphanage for children in Bangladesh!...please generously donate NOW!
