They stuck at it for 24 hours. A sterling effort.
Everyone at UTRN would like to thank the volunteers involved in raising money and especially everyone who generously donated... friends, family, students and staff at the University of Teesside.
We really appreciate all the contributions large and small.

Background
For the forthcoming Children in Need event on 14th November UTRN is going to be doing a 24 hour long broadcast from a remote location in the recently opened Athena building, at the University of Teesside
This live 24 hour broadcast will start at 8pm on the 13th and continue through the night until 8pm on Friday 14th November (the start of the live TV show on BBC1).
During the day our presenters will be broadcasting from one of the glass pods/display cases in Athena building, taking requests(for a small donation) and having guests in the make shift studio. If you'd like a song played just enter what song you'd like in the comments section when you sponsor us.
Throughout the day, we will have UTRN volunteers fundraising across the campus taking requests and providing live links to the studio.
All money raised from the event will go to Children in Need.
