Hi there!

In the spirit of kindness and giving, the UWE Postgrad Society has made an important decision to try and support as many charities as possible throughout the academic year.

Our commitment starts with the Bristol Harbour Run on the 27th June 2007. This demanding (!?!) 2.5 mile jog (well, if you consider the state of Eleimon, it will be demanding!) will be run by Diane Folan, Treasurer of the Society and Eleimon Gonis, President of the Society.

We will join more than 1500 fun runners for an early evening jog around the 2.5 mile harbourside course. I personally reckon that we will jog the first mile, walk the next one and then perhaps crawl the last half mile! Nevertheless, in the end, we will feel great knowing that we are putting hearts first by raising vital funds for the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) life-saving work.

The fun kicks off on 27 June 2007 from 6pm at LloydsTSB Amphitheatre.
