I’m part of a group of three university students who as part of our course were asked to set ourselves a challenge therefore we decided to walk the West Highland Way but we decided do it for Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.

 

Yorkhill Children’s Foundation is the only charity that supports the whole of Yorkhill Hospital which for those who are unfamiliar with the hospital treats and save children from throughout Scotland and beyond. The foundation also supports community based children’s services and other NHS hospitals within Glasgow.

 

I’m sure many of you reading this like myself have either been looked after by the hospital or know family members or friends who have been cared for by Yorkhill and this is my way of saying thanks to the hospital.
