Hi there folks!
I'm sure many of you must think I am completely mad
cycling from London to Paris in 4 days. I'm sure with a little training, padded shorts, a gel saddle and plenty of painkillers and Sudacreme for my bum, all will be fine.
I have chosen to to do this challenge for the Scottish Spina Bifida Association because their National Office and Family Support Centre are situated in my own home town of Cumbernauld.
This fund raising event is one of many that has been planned to support the SSBA's annual requirement to find £450,000 to run the centre and support services. I'm delighted to be playing a part for the charity and can only express my thanks
by completing this event!
Well I'm back home now having completed nearly 300 miles. It was a fantastic experience made even better by the excellent organisation. Thankyou to everyone who has sponsored me and supported all my fundraising efforts. Anyone who hasn't, it's not too late. This page will stay active until 2/10/2008. Thank you.
