November 2011 Update

I am absolutely delighted with the fantastic amount of money that we have raised so far for Breakthrough Breastcancer and would like to thank everyone for their amazing generosity. I am pleased to say that the chemotherapy and radiotherapy are now over and I am looking forward to a long overdue holiday at Christmas.

October 2011

As you will probably be aware I was diagnosed with breast cancer just before Easter and am now halfway through my treatment.

Whilst I haven't let it get in the way of me doing most of the things I love to do it has been a slight inconvenience to say the least. One thing I have realised is just how common breast cancer is, a huge number of friends and friends of friends have suffered from it. Current statistics show that one in every seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer!

I have been receiving some excellent treatment, but Breakthrough Breast Cancer raises money to support research with the aim of improving treatment and ultimately finding a cure.

Thank you for visiting my page and I hope you will make a donation to help me support the fight against this terrible disease.

Lots of love
