Lands End to John O'Groats cycle ride · 20 September 2011

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thank you for visiting my LEJOG JustGiving page.

I have completed the Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle challenge in aid of the NSPCC ChildLine.  £55,000 has been raised so far, enabling 12,000 children calls to be answered.  I am still short of my personal target of £2,000; thus, please dig deep to support a great cause!

About the charity
The NSPCC's purpose is to end cruelty to children and our vision is of a Society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. In September 2008, the NSPCC launched its Child’s Voice Appeal to answer more children’s cries for help. Every day, thousands of children and young people need to talk to ChildLine about a problem they face, while hundreds of caring adults call the NSPCC Helpline, worried about a child’s safety.

Please dig deep and donate now, your money will help to support the NSPCC's work to end cruelty to children in the UK.  I am a volunteer at ChildLine, and would fully recommend the charity to you!
