The VCMF is a fund I set up in memory of my dear mum who left a huge hole in all our lives on December 8th 2008 when she lost her short battle with cancer aged just 50. This page is to keep her memory alive whilst supporting others.

Hello!

And thank you for visiting the latest fundraising page of the Veronica Claxton memorial fund, a fund set up after the death of my mother Veronica from cancer aged 50 in 2008. To date we have managed to donate over £340,000 to various worthy causes. The last few years have seen us dedicate the majority of our fundraising to CLIC Sargent who support young people in the UK suffering with cancer. Our £250,000 challenge for them which has now gone past £245,000 can be viewed at www.justgiving.com/teams/target250k

This Christmas we will once again be fundraising to help support the thousands of children in the UK CLIC Sargent currently support, Christmas is an especially tough time of year and for the 5th year running we will  be cycling up to the ward at Addenbrookes to deliver Christmas presents to the children and their families in on the ward this Christmas time.

As well as that we will be running two raffles at our salons and also inviting people to purchase raffle tickets on here for a small raffle with some fabulous prizes I will be running via Facebook and Instagram.

If none of that takes your fancy but you still fancy doing something charitable this Christmas time please bear us in mind and if you can spare just £5 for some children in the fight of their lives this Christmas please feel free to donate via this page.

Thank you very much and have a very merry Christmas

Luke Claxton
