Luke Claxton is raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer
In memory of Veronica Claxton
Campaign by Young Lives vs Cancer (RCN 1107328 and SC039857)
The VCMF is a fund I set up in memory of my dear mum who left a huge hole in all our lives on December 8th 2008 when she lost her short battle with cancer aged just 50. This page is to keep her memory alive whilst supporting others.

Hi there and thanks for visiting the latest fundraising page of the Veronica Claxton Memorial Fund, a fundraising group based in Huntingdon, Cambs who support Young Lives Vs Cancer all year round and have so far managed to raise over £350,000 for this wonderful charity and nearly £450,000 overall for all good causes.

This September we are back on the bikes heading into Europe once more after completing successful tours every summer since 2016 taking in 8 different countries and finishing in some of the worlds most iconic places.

On September 24th we will depart the King of the Belgians pub in Hartford heading for Harwich before an overnight crossing into Holland, from here we will head west until we reach Paris before turning north and heading for our finish line which will this year be amongst the battlefields and beaches of Normandy at the British war memorial in Ver-Sur-Mer on September 29th.

This years team will be made up of 12 riders : Luke Claxton, Mark Ling, Ade Tattersall,, Paul Innes,, Steve Smith, Andy Park, Richard Todd, Glen Huddle, Dougie Gallimore, Paul Jenner, Daniel Moyes and Liam Johnson. With a 5 man support crew of Andy Claxton, David Pinner, Tommy Barringer, Nick Dean and Gary Jolly.

Thanks for taking the time to read our story and we really hope you can support this years ride once again.

Kind regards

Luke Claxton
