Hi there,

And thank you for visiting our latest fundraising page and the first one of what we hope is another successful years fundraising for the Veronica Claxton Memorial Fund, a fund I set up after the death of my mum in 2008 and who have managed to raise nearly £400,000 in her name since, the large majority for the wonderful CLIC Sargent.

Another virtual challenge to start off a miserable 2021, there’s not much else we can do at the moment so with exercise and getting a bit of fresh air to aid your mental as well as physical health so important at the moment we are encouraging people to try and complete 10,000 steps a day for 30 days, beginning on Saturday January 23rd all the way through to Sunday February 21st.  Just a little entry fee for all who want to take part and to give themselves a little goal and target to work towards. And if any friends and family of those taking part can spare a few pounds to help us support the wonderful children fighting cancer under the care of CLIC Sargent then that’s even better.

Thank you as always!
