Having worked with a number of charities over the years through our site Donation4Charity.org, the Venturian Media team decided it was about time they took part in an event to help raise additional funds for one of our charity partners.
I'm sure everyone knows someone who has had to battle against Cancer, and to that end we decided to help CRUK by facing our biggest fear - exercise!
Please help us to reach our goal of £1,000 - we promise to keep you up to date with how we are getting on, including publishing photos of when we hit the finish line (must remember to pack the flash as it may be dark by the time we are done!).
A small donation from all our friends will help us to raise a sum that will really help CRUK to fight cancer.
We have got a great team committing to take part in the 10K run :
Ross Travill - last ran aged 14, time will tell if he has gotten over his falling over issues.
Neil McDermott - bad back, knee and groin (excuses in early) - will do well to make it through the warm up.
Alister McDermott - the first to start training, but has never done more than 15 minutes cardio in his life.
Chris Osborne - a seasoned runner, who will help keep the teams combined time down.
Toby Smallpiece - has been reading the small print to see if he can complete the race on his tractor.
