Thank you very much for visiting my fundraising page.
In December this year, I will be taking part in the adventure of my life, climbing Kilimanjaro! At 5896m, it is the tallest mountain in Africa, and extremely challenging to climb, both physically and mentally.
Fundraising so far has included dinner parties, a baby photos competition, barbeques, and of course donations from friends and family (thank you!). More barbeques, a dj party + a sponsored walk are on the way!
So why am I doing it???
I am doing all this to raise funds for a charity, Engineers Against Poverty(www.engineersagainstpoverty.org), They work in the field of engineering and international development. Their work delivers practical benefits to the poor by creating jobs, promoting enterprise development and providing training.
What can YOU do?
I will need to raise the remainder of my funds by 10 Jan 09. The site accepts payments both from within and outside the UK.
Oh, and keep your eyes onto the site because I may even post pics of my training progress:-).
