This sponsored walk is being led by double world-record-holding explorer Harish Kohli, founder of Awimaway.com and will follow in the footsteps of the original pioneers of the mining industry in North Wales .

The journey will consist of climbing and scrambling up the zigzaging track over frost shattered shale and windswept plateaus before reaching the summit.

I hope to complete the stroll in around five hours raising as much as I can for Sophie's Appeal.
