Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, set up in memory of my Godmother, Veronica Softly, who passed away in 2004.

During 2004, I visited Veronica while she was staying at Trinity Hospice. She told me how grateful she was for the kindness of the staff and for the facilities provided by Trinity. Because of that, I have decided to walk the length of the South Downs Way early in June 2009 in an effort to raise money for Trinity Hospice on her behalf.

The South Downs Way runs from Winchester in Hampshire to Eastbourne in Sussex- 100 miles in total! My plan is to complete the walk in 5 consecutive days (assuming no mishaps!)
