Donations are being raised by our family for "The Haven", a Blantyre based Cancer Charity specialising in caring and counselling for people who have just been informed they have cancer.

Between 2007 and 2009, both our mum and dad, (Janet and Joe Veverka) were diagnosed with two different kinds of terminal cancer. Dad passed away in 2007 and mum at New Year 2009/10. They were only 60 and 62 respectively. We miss them so much and can't begin to describe the impact this had on our remaining family.

Such a shock to us all, we felt we wanted to do something in their memory, to honour them with donations going to an appropriate local charity and one which they both supported fully. So, we're kindly asking if you could maybe donate a few pounds toward this cause, and afterwards tell your friends and colleagues.
