Thanks for visiting my www.enduroafrica.com fundraising page. The dates for this thousand mile motorcycle run up the "Wild Coast" from Durban to Port Elizabeth are 17 -27 Oct 09. I did my induction for this in 1969 on my Honda in Kenya, and it's going to be great to re-visit the big continent, breathe the air and hear the waves, feast my eyes and touch the soil, taste mahogo and just be there - on behalf of both Linda and myself - as well as Ali and Lau - the best youngsters we could ever have hoped for.

As well as being a real blast with the Enduro Team, I'd like to honour Linda, her love and support for Africa, and many of the things she stands for, partly through the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and partly through the grit and sweat it's going to take for this 100 Kg Kenya Cowboy to cover the trail involved!

There will of course be blogs and emails, bash hat mounted videos and breathtaking piccies of the coast and the forests, the people and the places.
